Overnight Oats Base (V, DF)
Ingredients:
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup dairy free milk (I used Ripple because it added extra protein, but you can use any DF milk!)
- 1 T wheat germ or chia seeds
- 1 tsp maple syrup or honey
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients together in single serve container.
- Put in fridge overnight.
- Enjoy!
Tips:
- See below for ideas for add-ins
- Vegan: use maple syrup instead of honey
- You can use either wheat germ or chia seeds, or you can use both (1.5 tsp of each)
- Should last up to 5 days in the fridge with in a sealed, air-tight container
PB Banana Overnight Oats
Ingredients:
- 1 banana (mashed)
- 2 spoonfuls of PB (add more or less to your liking)
Directions:
- Make the base recipe for overnight oats. Add in the mashed banana.
- Soak overnight in the fridge.
- Before serving, add the peanut butter on top. Enjoy!
Tips:
- I chose to use wheat germ and maple syrup for this recipe because the flavors blended well with the PB and banana
- You can also use almond butter or sunflower butter
- Should last up to 5 days in the fridge in a sealed, air-tight container (do not add PB until the morning you will be eating it)
Maple Blueberry Overnight Oats
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 T maple syrup
Directions:
- Make the base recipe for overnight oats, change the 1 tsp to 1T of maple syrup.
- Add in the frozen blueberries. Stir.
- Soak overnight in the fridge.
- Enjoy!
Tips:
- Before serving, you can add extra toppings if you want (ex. granola, fresh blueberries or other berries)
- Should last up to 5 days in the fridge in a sealed, air-tight container
Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup apple sauce
- 1/4 cup diced apple
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
- Make the base recipe for overnight oats.
- Add the apple sauce, diced apple, and cinnamon. Stir.
- Soak overnight in the fridge.
- Enjoy!
Tips:
- You can also add granola on top if you want before serving
- If your apple sauce has cinnamon in it, you may want to decrease cinnamon to ½ tsp
- Should last for up to 5 days in the fridge in a sealed, air-tight container
